Meet your trainer

Hi, I'm Victoria!

I am a Cambridge qualified English Tutor and founder of Victoria Road. I hold the internationally recognised Cambridge CELTA qualification in teaching English to speakers of other language. I also have a postgraduate diploma in Translation Studies from Birmingham University, UK.

I've been working with international professionals from a wide range of industries for over 15 years now. I previously taught advanced pronunciation classes at the International House World Organisation, a global network of known for the high quality of language education and teacher training.

I have also worked for the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe, in a highly international environment. That experience sparked my passion for teaching successful international communication, which is often linguistically and culturally challenging.

I'm passionate about helping international professionals enjoy the way they speak in English. In the vast majority of cases, your pronunciation is your business card. The more secure and confident you feel about it, the more you enjoy speaking in English at work and in daily life. I greatly enjoy giving people the tools for speaking clearly and effectively in English, and making sure their ideas are valued and heard.
